International students that have been accepted to McKendree University and have decided to pursue their education at McKendree will need to complete and submit the following to ensure their enrollment:

Visit your application portal to view your Admission Decision and download your Admission Decision Letter. You'll
also log-in here to apply for New Student Campus Housing sign up for Course Registration.

We believe that visiting campus is the most essential step in making your college decision so check out our virtual visit opportunities!
A virtual counselor meeting is an engaging way to learn more about the all of opportunities
available at McKendree, interact with your admission counselor, and 'see' the campus.
Activate Your McKendree Account
Activate your official McKendree University account by clicking on MyMcK and then
first time user from the McKendree homepage. You will need your Student ID to complete
the activation process. You can find this on the Enrollment Confirmation Form sent
with your admission packet.
Deposit
Ready to officially reserve your spot in the Bearcat family?
Sign and return your enrollment confirmation form along with your deposit:

$400 non-refundable tuition and housing deposit for all residents
Pay your deposit securely online with a credit/debit card.
(Refer to your enrollment confirmation form for your student ID number.)
Your enrollment confirmation form is included in your Admission Decision Letter and
can be downloaded from your application portal.
Deadline: May 1
Class Registration
Use the link below to get started with Class Registration. Completing this form will
give you access to academic placements and will allow you to sign up for a virtual
one-on-one advising time with an academic advisor.
Spring 2025 Class Registration
Fall 2025 Class Registration will be available on February 1.
Apply for Campus Housing
The housing application will be available in the student portal to students that have submitted an enrollment deposit beginning February 1, 2025.
If you've already submitted your housing application but need to make a change, please
submit this form.
Housing assignments are typically made in date received order so be sure and get your
application in early.
Assignments will be e-mailed to students' personal and McKendree accounts this summer.

New Student Orientation (NSO)
New Student Orientation is required for all students and is event is essential to your college transition. Participation is required. Part of the event will be dedicated to our new international students.

Medical Forms
Complete and return your Confidential Medical History Form and immunization record.
Health Services can provide you will additional details on immunization requirements and a link to
the Confidential Medical History Form.
Deadline: August 1 - You will not be able to move into your residence hall until these
forms are received.
Health Insurance
All international students must obtain health or medical insurance by the time they
arrive on campus. You may also contact McKendree Director of Health Services at (618)
537-6503 for additional questions you may have about medical issues.

Securing an I-20, Student VISA, and Other Immigration Information
Before McKendree University will issue an I-20, you must have completed the following:
1. Completed the application process and gained admission to the University
2. Indicated your plans to attend McKendree University by submitting your Enrollment
Confirmation Form and deposit.
After the I-20 has been issued, it, and other important documents, will be sent to you via email. You will need to make an appointment with the nearest US Consulate to apply for an F-1, or student VISA, which is needed to enter the United States. You will need to bring the I-20 with you when securing your VISA.
