Online Accounting Degree
An online accounting degree allows the busy adult time to balance work and personal
responsibilities while furthering your education. The McKendree University School
of Business has designed this online accounting program for flexibility. Students
enrolled in this online program may continue to apply hours toward requirements in
sitting for the CPA exam.
Why an Online Accounting Degree?
The accountant's role in business decision making has expanded, making accounting
one of the fastest growing fields in education and business.
Flexible Course Format
Online classes are delivered using the course management system Brightspace. All online
courses for the BBA are offered over an eight week period. Many students choose to
take two courses during each eight week session. Accounting classes are also offered at the Center at Scott Air Force Base.
Advancement Opportunities
Students that plan to sit for the Uniform CPA Examination will be able to reach the
150 hour requirement by taking additional courses at the undergraduate or graduate
level. Many other students further their education by pursuing an MBA.
