Eligibility Requirements
Applicants should be exceptional graduating seniors and U.S. citizens. All majors
are eligible.
Scholarship Description
The Rhodes Scholarship is designed for outstanding students, athletes, and citizens
in all disciplines who want to attain a degree at the University of Oxford. Rhodes
Scholars must enroll in a degree-program program (an M.A. Ph.D. or an additional B.A.)
at the U of Oxford. Applicants are judged according to their literary and scholastic
achievements; their commitment to becoming fully self-actualized, including a commitment
to athletics; their devotion to community service; their moral character; and their
willingness to take on leadership roles.
